I am experimenting a brassica plant known as the cabbage. Sadly I don't have any pictures of our plant because the chickens that we have ate all of them. The cabbage was growing to its fullest one day them the next it was dying and looked to be eaten by someone or something. The plant looked very small as everyones where growing supertall looking down on our plant. The offsprings will not be the same but almost. Thier raits will consist of green leaves, shorts steams, and ball shaped like figure. The DNA will be passed on through the offspring. Ove time theplant will change to its enviovorment

This is a picture of what our plant would have looked like if the chikens whoulnt of eatten it.

Angiosperms differ from other seed plants in several ways. These distinguishing characteristics taken together have made the angiosperms the most diverse and numerous land plants and the most commercially important group to humans.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    This Picture is through a microscope of a yellow camphorweed.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     This is a picture of a flower I found in my school garden.

We are experimenting with brassica plants and our own plant are cabbages. There aren't any pictures of our cabbages because the chickens had eaten them. Our cabbage was very green and growing to be very big with huge leaves surrounded by soil. Cabbages were descended by some tall plants because the stems of the plant grew to be as tall as your waist. You can predict that the offspring will not be exactly alike but very similar. They would contain traits of long stems, green leaves, and all formed into a ball of layers upon layers. Through meiosis the DNA will be passed on to the offspring so it will have similar traits. Through many years of offspring the brassica will split off and mix with others to make new brassicas.
This is a picture of the brassicas from before and from now. They changed throughout the years when people picked a chose through the traits that they wanted.

The plant we are experimenting with is a cabbage. The cabbage is green, torn apart, dug up, and surrounded by grass. You an tell from these organisms, that they are not very sturdy and strong. The offspring seem like they will do good and be healthy just like our plant. There are different forms because of the genetics changed.

Jordan Sabalsa: Bio

Hi my name is Jordan. I was born in Stockton and lived there for less than a year then moved to Manteca and lived there for about 1 year and 1/2 or 2 then moved to San Jose where I mostly grew up. I went to two middle schools and now I am enjoying WGHS.

At my elementary school it was a science magnet school called Hacienda. We had science class with all these cool animals and we also had this huge outdoors area. Our science teacher would take us out to the garden and help us grow vegetables, fruits and plants. Some things I remember growing is flowers strawberries, lettuce, tomatoes etc.  The relationship I had with my teacher was that he was one of the best science teachers I've had, Mr. Keedy.

Ashley Sanchez: Bio

Hi my name is Ashley Sanchez. I'm from San Jose, California. I'm athletic and the worst cook, but i know how to make a great sandwich with fresh avocados from my grandparent's backyard. My whole life I have grown up with boys. I sort of became a tomboy in a dress with sneakers. I am quiet the entertainer, dancing and singing in the aisles at Home Depot. My whole life trees have been something that I always appreciated. Whenever I see a tree I always see how beautiful it is. Some trees have great thick branches that you can climb, others provide cool shade, and some even bless you with fresh fruit.

I actually have had grown plants before. I remember growing tomatoes in my grandparents house. And also right now I'm growing Malagueta chilli peppers in my grandparents garden. My grandpa knows a lot about gardening because he a landscaper. He always grows flowers, chilli peppers, avocados, lemons, and herbs. I always make fun of him because in a little napkin he puts 6 chilli peppers in his pocket to take wherever he goes because the food is never too hot for him.
