Story of the Seed #4 Shelby

We are experimenting with brassica plants and our personal plant was cabbage. We have no photos left of our cabbage because they were completely stolen by the chickens, our original plant was green and surrounded by dirt in a dome shape structure. The origins of the plant come from the brassica family. The cabbage has an extensive history, which makes it difficult to trace it's exact origins. They acquired these traits from roots and family heritage within the brassica family. They will pass down there traits by reproduction within the area grown with other plants in there family or without. There offspring might not look exactly like them but would have very similar traits. They look different because there are many species of brassicas that have been created over the years. The offspring would have developed ad been healthy if given the opportunity too. The genetics changed over time creating different forms of the plant.
The photo shown looks like what our plant would have looked like if it fully developed and was not stolen by the chickens.
